The logo of the MCG was adopted in 2022 when the Chamber was established. The logo consists of a roundel shown on the right and includes the following symbols:

The crossed hammers: these are an international symbol of geology and Geologists. Geologists often carry a geological hammer in the field which they use to split rock and break off samples.

The Maltese Cross: an eight-pointed cross which is an international symbol that is closely linked to Malta's history. The white and red colours represent the colours of the Maltese flag.

mente et malleo: a Latin motto that means by thought and hammer, which is how Geologists work out complex issues about rocks.

The green background reflects MCG's green credentials.
