Executive Council
The Executive Council of the Malta Chamber of Geologists was elected for the period 2024-2026 during the Annual General Meeting held on 5th February 2024. The Council consists of four members with voting rights:

Prof Maria Mutti: Chair of Sedimentary Geology at the University of Potsdam, Germany.
About the Chamber:
The Executive Council of the Malta Chamber of Geologists (MCG) meets on a regular basis and every meeting is minuted.
The Council and its meetings are governed by the Statute of the MCG.
The Chamber is registered with the Commission for Voluntary Organisations
The Malta Chamber of Geologists forms part of the network of European Geosciences Union (EGU) National Geoscientific Societies.
Honorary membership is bestowed by the Council to persons who have made exceptional contributions to Maltese geology in Malta or overseas. Three geologists have accepted Honorary membership to the MCG.
Statute
The Malta Chamber of Geologists is administered by the Council and regulated by its statute. Copies of the statue of the MCG are deposited with the Office of the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations and the Malta Business Registry.
