Executive Council
The Malta Chamber of Geologists is governed by the Executive Council. The present Council was elected for the period 2024-2026 during the Annual General Meeting held on 5th February 2024. The Council consists of four members with voting rights:

About the Chamber:
The Executive Council of the Malta Chamber of Geologists (MCG) meets on a regular basis and every meeting is minuted.
The Annual General Meeting open to all members elects the Executive Council every two years.
The Council and its meetings are governed by the Statute of the MCG.
The Chamber is registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations (Reg. No. VO/2329)
The Malta Chamber of Geologists forms part of the network of European Geosciences Union (EGU) National Geoscientific Societies.
The Chamber is listed in the European Transparency Register (Reg. No. 218510351724-15)
Honorary membership is bestowed by the Council to persons who have made exceptional contributions to Maltese geology in Malta or overseas. Three geologists have accepted Honorary membership to the MCG.
